Brett R. Henson, DDS

Dr. Henson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and completed his endodontic residency at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. After residency, Dr. Henson became board-certified and is a proud diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. While in school, he conducted research on dental pulp genetics as well as endodontic computed tomography (CT) scanning technology. The radiology research conducted during his residency was published in the Journal of Endodontics. As a dental student at UNC, he participated in numerous volunteer opportunities, including the SHAC clinic and the North Carolina Missions of Mercy clinics. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for his undergraduate degree in economics before deciding to pursue dentistry. Dr. Henson grew up in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, where he became an Eagle Scout.

Dr. Henson maintains memberships in many professional organizations to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Tarheel Endodontic Association.

Dr. Henson serves on the Dental Assisting Advisory Committee at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College as well as with the Community Care Clinic of Rowan County as a volunteer clinician. He is dedicated to delivering excellent endodontic care and giving back to the community. Dr. Henson most enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and his two daughters Nora and Rose.
